How to instruct
I accept instructions in personal injury, clinical negligence, and employment-related psychological injury cases from solicitors, courts, and other professional bodies.
I do not accept instructions from litigants in person.
If you would like to discuss a potential instruction, I am happy to advise on suitability and scope before formal instruction.
Initial enquiry
A brief enquiry is sufficient. It is helpful to include:

Nature of the case

Questions to be addressed

Any deadlines or hearing dates

Location of the claimant
Relevant documentation can be provided at a later stage if required. Documents should be provided electronically. Paper documents sent by post are not accepted.
Instruction process
1. Enquiry
You provide outline details of the case.
2. Review
I confirm suitability, check for conflicts, and advise on scope.
3. Agreement
Fees, timescales, and terms are confirmed in writing.
4. Assessment
A psychological assessment is carried out, including clinical interview, review of records, and, where appropriate, psychometric measures.
5. Report
A report is prepared in accordance with CPR Part 35, addressing diagnosis, causation, prognosis, and treatment.
Timescales & availability

Enquiries are acknowledged within one working day

A full response is provided within three working days

Appointments are offered at the earliest available date

Reports are typically completed within two weeks of assessment
